windows freezing
Did anyone have any problems with the car doors freezing and the windows not opening in the winter?
I heard that in cold weather the windows don't release and the car door can't open. Also with all the electronics in these cars, has anyone experenced problems? |

this is really interesting, and honestly I have never thought about it. I am really hoping these cars were made considering the freezing. You got me worried man...

This happened to my vert all the time. Heres the way I solved the problem. The night before a freeze take a turkey baster and fill it with de-icer. Squirt all of the seams and they don't freeze over!

I live in northcentral ohio and this past winter was one of the coldest i remember (-22° F a couple days) my car was parked outside at work and I never had a problem with the doors not opening.

You know we can make ourselves crazy with all these post!
I just wish my car would get here already! I am on my 5th week. According to the web site it is still in transit. This Friday it would be 2 weeks on the boat! GEE how long does it take to cross the Atlantic? As far as the frozen windows go, I will try to keep a mind of the lower temps and keep the window frame lubricated with de-icer. Thank you for the replys. |
