anyone else in South Beach today driving in flooded streets?
wow was anyone else here driving through the flooded streets in the South Beach areas today pretty crazy stuff.

thankfully no... i was there yesterday on business.... glad it wasn't today. was just watching the news and saw cars halfway submerged in water... can you imagine one of our m3's getting caught in that mess... hated..

my car was on a lot that sits above the street slightly so my car was litterally stranded on an island. my dad had to come and get me in a Range Rover lol.

Just arrived today from a two week trip. Had to stay flying an extra 2 hrs due to the weather. Sobe looked nasty from CNN news.

i got caught in that crap on st. patricks day...the water was up to the front lights!
i dont know how i managed to get out w/o destroying the car...price we pay for low cars i guess |

Streets got flooded for no apparent reason last year.... apparently a bit of high tide + rain = New Orleans style flooding. I drive down Alton and over Macarthur every day so when it was bad I just worked from home.
I was out of town on business for the week when it happened so I missed it. Lots of totaled cars as a result of the floods, many that were just parked on the side of the road and in parking garages.
