Removal is not too difficult. What is the condition of your trim. Can you post some pictures? I'll do the same for my wood trim.

Just an FYI for those that don't know...the center console has to come out for the front most trim piece (around the ash try) to come out. One of our customers tried taking it out with the usual force applied on other BMWs (ie: E9x) and it broke.
