will the oem exhaust fit into my trunk?

I am getting the Meisterschaft GTS with sr connecting pipes soon. Will the oem exhaust and connecting pipes fit into my trunk with the seats folded down?

Good question.

My aftermarket exhaust will be completing its install later this morning, and I was wondering the same thing. Although, I'm replacing the entire exhaust system, so it's even harder for me.

I may not take a risk and I'll decide to bring my SUV along.

It may scratch up your car if you even try. Trust me, I've experienced that nightmare before.

Be EXTREMELY careful, if you do decide to pull it off.

I wish the oem exhaust and pipes weren't one piece...

It looks like the whole exhaust from headers back is 2 pieces. the primary cats/xpipe are 1 and the sr connecting pipes/muffler is 1.

Yes it will, I just changed my exhaust last weekend and the stock exhaust and connecting pipes fit in easily with the seats down.

And as another point of reference, the stock cats and X-pipe fit as well. Although it is pretty tight for length. We had to move the passenger seat almost all the way forward, so don't plan on carrying any adult passengers.

+1

I just swapped my exhaust out as well and yes, the oem exhaust will definitely fit in the trunk with no problems. As long as you put the seats down.

Just make sure you take a few towels or whatever to wrap around the greasy/dirty parts that touch the carpet in the trunk.

You're correct, however, the E92 is 1.4 inches longer overall, so you may have a little more room than I do.

Yes it will fit no problem, as long as you can fold down your seats. If you can, you can fit the entire exhaust in the car.

well, i think the midpipes are a bit longer than the rear section with its pipes. Because I fit in the OEM exhaust about a week ago and it wasnt as tight as your pic with the midpipes. (e92)

day1, if you need to fit the rear section AND the midpipes, you can probably fit them both if you stack em.

I have a E92. With the rear seats folded down, yes, the stock exhaust will fit in the trunk. I had to transport my stock exhaust when I had my AA signature installed.

With the E90, I had no issues fitting the OEM rear section into my trunk with the seats folded down. I cannot comment on the midpipe though.
