German engineering against US engineering

135 140mph F350 entering freeway and loses control spinning around freeway, no control, as snowball coming from hills, wet surface. 135 handles perfectly, very controlled braking and avoid hit by the uncontrollable F350. Really cool. No more safe car than 1ser, you are lucky guys

Kinda confused myself.

Have a F350 run into a 135i head on at 120mph. That would be a diff story I'm guessing.

The 135 handling could have saved his life. Most people in F350's drive way too fast.

I have no idea what the OP is talking about. I bet he wakes up with a horrible hangover.

Who’s doing 140mph on the freeway with snow if that is what he/she is talking about?

I was doing 140 mph on the freeway in my 135. A Ford F350 was entering the freeway on my right and lost control spinning, around freeway, no control, just like a snowball coming down a hill. On a wet surface. the 135 handles perfectly, very controlled braking and avoid being hit by the uncontrollable F350.

Really cool. There is no more safe car than 1ser, you are lucky guys to be driving them

But what if your fuel pump goes out trying to make a left hand turn and you get hit by the F350 going 50mph?

Or what if your cracked third brake light gives the driver behind you in the F350 a migraine which totally pisses the dude in the Ford off (more than he was already given you didn't "buy American" like him and instead arrogantly drive a badass BMW) so he decides to ram you?

Seriously man, I'm just scared to death at the thought of ever pushing "start engine" on my 1.

Whoever is doing 140 on a US freeway is a moron.

Regardless, I don't think American engineering is bad, I think development exceeds any costs for superiority.

Im confuzzled. How is it bad american enginneering when a dude in an F350 looses control because he is driving like an ass.

My family has owned several Ford trucks over the years an you would be surprised as to how well they actually handle.

Although I have no experience with the F350.

something something you were going between 135 and 140mph in your F350 Ferarri when you lost control? Something about snowballs being thrown at you from a hill, and it was wet outside???? and somehow driver error makes german engineering better than us engineering

Ford F350 is a big badanka dunk truck not known for handling. How about USA vs. German engineering in term of tow capability between F350 and 135i.

No actually...I dont...and whose to say that the Russians never developed Gen 5 fighter tech and that it is still a secret.

The commies couldn't build a car for crap...but they made some great airplanes.

I'm surprised nobody else has pointed out the folly in comparing a truck to a small two door coupe in any conditions? Its not like its an apples to apples comparison even if they were both engineered in the same country. I'd like to see a 135i haul a large motorhome up a hill or carry a shiteload of heavy building materials in it's rear cab...
