Is "Sport" real Passive?
Hey guys & gals, it seems that over the years the consensus is that for EDC, COMFORT & SPORT modes are passive/static, while NORMAL mode is active (along with this has come many debates on whether as a result NORMAL is the fastest setting because of its active characteristics which ultimately can lead to NORMAL being stiffer at times then SPORT).
However, in the description of the Comp Pckg on the BMW website, as well as in the first review of the Comp Pckg (by Autoexpress) they indicate that "SPORT mode software has been enhanced". So my question is, does this show that since "software changes" can affect SPORT, that SPORT is in fact an "active" mode? Or are they using the term software, but in reality all it means is they have recalibrate the static settings of the shocks which are implemented upon selecting SPORT? Love to hear everyone's thoughts on the matter. Cheers, e46e92

I always thought both Comfort and Normal were active as necessary.
