3K HID AE's from Alpine Installed
I recently installed my 3K HID AE kit from Alex@Alpine this past week and here's what they look like (sorry for the dirty car, haven't washed it since BFest). I also made some brackets for the ballasts and circuits but haven't painted them black yet so i will post pics of them when i do so. what do you guys think?

I've been waiting to see these results. How did you end up wiring the HID's? I was following your thread and you seemed to have been delayed by the grommets and connectors? What did you end up doing. I'm looking at getting Alex's HID kit as well and would like to have a clean install.

I did end up using some grommets for my installation but it's a little funny how I ended up sourcing them after almost a week of searching the web for them I finally asked Alex@Alpine and he said he could have added the grommets on for me before he shipped them and I wouldn't need to splice them with more connectors. So I sent the kit back to him and he took off the original connectors and added the grommets for me and had them ready a couple days later so I could pick them up from him at Bimmerfest. He even remembered I wanted to make brackets for the ballasts so he threw in some housings for them that i can connect my brackets to. I have my brackets made but haven't painted them black yet, when I do I'll post my install.

Those look like the CSR eyelids from one of many group buys from Germany. Including shipping and customs and stuff, I believe the total price was around 100 bucks, though the lids themselves are definitely cheaper.
