Meisterschaft GT Question

Ignoring GT Haus' previous debacle with Eisenmann and their more recent issues with Kriessieg, how is the build quality of their Meisterschaft GT system purely from an exhaust perspective (and not a business ethics perspective)? Does it sound as good as it does in videos?

And, are there any dyno-proven performance gains to be had from it?

Thanks!

I have had no problems with the build quality and it sounds amazing, as far as dyno results there really arent any. My car dyno'd at 330whp on Gintani's dyno, but i do not have any baseline to compare that with

I bought a GTS system a little while ago... Quality was not that good or atleast not the best i have seen.. if you compare it to a Gintani, AA , or a Eise..(the ones i have seen in person) huge diff.
I read somewhere on here that the slits or what ever they are called break off. Recently the clamp that goes on to the connecting pipes and the mufflers (GT2) on my friends e90 M3 broke and the other side looks pretty bad. Again I WAS a Meisterschaft fan! Not so sure anymore.

Thanks guys...I'm curious primarily because of the sound. I haven't heard another exhaust with that F1-ish tone at higher RPMs (which I love). If there is something else out there that sounds very similar but with better quality (and better reputation) I would definitely go for it.

I installed the GT system about 3 weeks ago and am very pleased with it. I am new to the forum and haven't really been involved in the past stuff. The build quality is excellent as far as I am concerned and the sound is outstanding. I did the install myself and the fit was spot on. I listened to tons of clips and for some reason this is the one which did it for me. Totally happy at this point. As far as any hp gains I would probably say minimal at best, maybe 3-7 I would guess.

Have you looked at the Kreissieg Exhaust at all? It was designed specifically for what you are looking for, and the quality is unmatched on top of it. We have installed a few here, and on M3's as well. Feel free to shoot me any questions at all.

Love my GT. Have had it on the car since beginning of April and I still smile from ear to ear everytime I punch it. Get lots of thumbs up on the road too.

The quality of the welds were great and the fit and finish were spot on. No complaints what so ever.

Do you guys have any videos of your GT's? There's only a few online that I could find.

I did listen to some Kriessieg F1 clips, it sounds good but I think I prefer the GT's sound more. Quite a price difference between their systems and most other highly regarded systems (ie. Eisenmann Race) too

What system did you get? A friend of mine has it on his M3 and there was drone. The quality was good though.

I have the Fabspeed xpipe and the Meisterschaft GTS, sounds absolutely insane, have no issues with the build quality, and there is definately an F1'ish sound at certain RPM's. For the cost, I'm totally happy with this setup.

We have had some issues in the past with welds breaking, Meisterschaft exhausts are built in Korea and for the most part some of their designs (E46 systems) are direct copies of Eisenmann. When your doing an exhaust, it depends on what you want - sound/quality and most importantly service. Do it right go Eisenmann or Akrapovic.

I'm pretty sure the cracked welds and copied design you speak of are both refering to the E46 titanium version that had these issues. There are guys on this forum that have the current GT for two years with zero problems.

Nice vid especially like the fact you actually turned off the music everytime the exhaust sound was there.

I've had my GT installed for about 2 months. The welds are beautiful. Not Akrapovic beautiful, but seriously the constuction and attention to detailed is VERY good. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the sound. Perfect amount of deep grunt, and raspy exotic'ness, depending on RPM. I find no drone, no annoyance whatsoever. Conversations at freeway speeds are completely normal. I couldn't be happier with my choice, and I'm usually unhappy with most everything in life .

Here are a few videos -

How much do these exhausts run? I have been looking for a price, but the internet here in Afghanistan sucks, as you can imagine.
