JB3 in dash boost gauge video
Small update, BMS got their in dash boost gauge working this morning. They first suggested using the fuel gauge in March of this year and stuck with it as its the cleanest option. This is just a "proof of concept" video but is calibrated
from 0-20psi, and you'll be able to also view meth flow, air/fuel ignition timing, EGT, as well. I'll post some more videos when the rest is all working. Best part is BMS has setup their system to be able to also offer a super cheap stand alone in dash boost gauge for flash owners and others who want it. Cool stuff! |

third......... Interesting concept... not sure if im sold on it. Much to "gimmicky" for me as of now, id rather have a standard gauge. Not to keen on messing with the clusters as they are not cheap to replace.

^agreed. I'll much rather have the P3 gauge so I can see the actual boost and not have to guesstimate it

I have to say this is the coolest feature I've seen in a long time..... being able to use stock gauges to display other info and all done by software is brilliant!
I understand the cost in replacing a stock cluster if something happens but how often do you monitor your boost gauge or any other additional gauges? For me the only time I would need it is when I add a mod to see if things are "right" or if I feel something "wrong" with my car. Then being able to see it with a click of the button is great. I can then save that money I would have to spend on a P3 gauge and put it to performance enhancing mods. Great stuff guys!!!! |
