Program your phone to enter your production number automatically

I got sick of entering my production number in every time I called the 800 number to get the current status. If you have a phone that can input "pauses" in programmed numbers here's exactly what you should enter to get directly to the production status. Commas are pauses:

18008311117,,,,,,2,,XXXXXXX,1

The "X"s are the production number (or last 7 of the VIN but if you use a VIN change the "1" at the end to "2")

Hope that makes your lives a little easier

Thanks, ive got awhile... It's scheduled for production but no date confirmed yet, whatever that means :-/ Any idea what time frame I'm looking at, considering the factory is closed this month, and that I'm in the west coast (SF)?

Once you get assigned a production date, you can start to get a good idea of how things will go. Your car will only take 2-4 days to complete production, then another couple days to arrive at port and wait for a boat. The boat ride is the worst part, takes almost a month to get from Bremerhaven to Port Hueneme. I'm sure you've read this whole process about a dozen times already. haha.
