M5 Lease
I’m close to leasing an F10 550i, but with some of the comments on it’s more luxury focus over sportiness from the E60, I’ve been wondering if I should just hold off a year and save up for an M5. I leased an E60 550i before but was wondering what kind of sticker shock awaits me if I wanted an M5. Could anyone who’s done this before give me some tips on what to expect if I did hold out?
Thanks! |

I did a quick order-of-magnitude computation at www.leaseguide.com/calc.htm. Assuming:
Car: 105,000 Additional costs: 900 Residual: 51% Rate: 6.5% (.00271 MF) Settle tax of 9.5% No cap reduction Monthly payment = $1886 + $179 tax = $2065/month Cost of car may be a little high, but it wouldn't surprise me. Residual may be a little low, but that's my guess. This is probably a worst-case scenario number. Actual number may be a little lower. Maybe down to $1500/month. I wouldn't think it would be much lower than that, though. |
