I averaged 283 rwhp and 343 rwtq and peaked at 285 rwhp and 347 rwtq after 3 runs on a Dynapack. Only mod in addition to BMW Performance Power Kit was a BMW Performance Exhaust. Outside temp was in the high 70s low 80s.

You will gain about 20hp only. I have a boost gauge and the most highest boost I ever recorded was 12.0 PSI when I was on track. Around town I have seen 11.x as the highest.
Do not expect much power from the BMW Performance Power Kit. The most benefit from the kit comes from the increased cooling (aux radiator and bigger fan). |

You should have almost the same engine as the 335is and possibly the 1M, but BMW is still being coy about that.

12 psi at 7000 rpm? I Have been told oem pulls .6 bar like 8 psi. I use 93 and the car feels over 300. |

The only benifit of the PPK is the extra cooling..

Hey Felipe - The dyno chart from my 1 is at
http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=402709 Post #21 I've been driving it for a while now - and am enjoying it greatly. Low end torque off the line greatly improved - can chirp tires on demand and generally feel the car's overall performance has greatly improved. I'm more of a feel the acceleration than top speed kind of driver. This is my daily use car. Many arguments seem to form up around 'It's a load of money' or 'You get more HP for less money with XXXX chip or YYYY tuner' and chances are those statements are true. My thoughts - and the first time I've put this on the board - I own my 1, I keep my vehicles for many years, generally pay for the extended warranty and lavish love, care and affection upon them. Its the same with my woodworking tools. Other addicts probably feel different and/or may be at a different point in their lives or careers. Having invested around $40k ish for my car - the price difference between the various tune options really wasn't a major decision point. I would rather save for the heirloom woodworking tool that will last a lifetime than buy the (often much) cheaper generic hand plane. Again other folks play differently. Why the BMW PPK ? Three main reasons for me - I work a pretty demanding job and just can't be bothered with field striping the car if I need to drop it off for service (and yes I do do the much more frequent maintenance schedule), of course the warranty and last but to me most important - I respect (greatly) the engineering of BMW, its why I (and probably most of us) purchased a BMW - and if those clever folks in Germany state that to up the TQ and HP on my car additional fans, ducts and engine 'stuff' is needed - I trust them - they, like me, have little interest in thrashing the engine for short term gains and thrills. Since I trust the manufacturers recommendation and have purchased it our mutual contract of 'This will just work with no issues' remains intact, unsullied and like my 1 - Pure. Bottom line - Lovin' it and I never have to worry about things breaking.

thanks gadget, i will puchase it, i think like you but i sure like to put the car to the limits so basically this car reaches very quick to 155mph, the only thing i will add to the kit is the top speed removal.
thanks |

I just want the Aux radiator, or someone to build us an aftermarket version based off of it. If there is one, I haven't seen it.

I just took out of the car from dealer and it feel like a normal tune which i had but gives you always the power, no heat soak .
I dont think any tuner can improve more than the bmw engineers that built that engine. And is not a matter of numbers is all that is combine with the extra power. br |

The car feels more light , i use 98 octane always, so from common more pressure reflash this system feels almost the same, but heres the difference , the oil temps are much lower, power is always available and there is no way it will get to limp mode if it pushed to extremes, oil will not heat up like normal configurations and thats power, i remember that a simple oil cooler solve my vr6 corrado a lot of power loss . I have twin cooler jejejej. I had some 335 n55 (they dont have a kit) tryng to keep up but they simply cant. The car is lighter but 3 cars ahead is too much. I did a great invesment for a new car , no warranty issues but when this one goes away, i will certainly install dps, intercooler and raise a little the boost. Like a dinan stage 3 but better. I saw a 335is with the same system and talk to bmw guys about the 1m , they say it will certainly perform like my car , the looks and more agressive configuration is 15 grand more. Maybe for all people with n54 will not consider it, cause with 15 grand you can convert this bimmer in a monster . And its a M Tuned series not really a M car design like m3 ,m5 , m6 models. Because if they really produced the M1 in this chasis it will kill all other m cars jajajja . So is 1 series M. I will recomend this kit to all new and almost new n54, i thought n55 was a better engine but n54 has more potential for what i want(power) and with this kit , invites you to put it all on,cause it will handle the extra power. btw, I hits 280 kph like nothing and oil temps are lower at highway speeds. Next mod is 19" 259M wheels. I am looking for info it they will fit correctly, roswell bmw says i will have to roll my fenders with oem suspension. I will investigate further.
