NYC and front plate?

Anyone parking their car in Manhattan without a front plate on the street? If so have you gotten away without a ticket? Or are cops being a big pain in the ass and running around hitting up parked cars with no front plate tickets.

i haven't had any issues but to be honest I don't park it in the street, if I go into the city I just park in a parking garage so I avoid my bumpers getting trashed with those people who can't park

Yea, that's what I've done in the past. I usually don't drive or park in a garage, but I was just going to be for a couple hours so I thought I could just park on the street. I'd be pissed if I got a no plate ticket though.

I wouldnt risk it. Got one the other day. 130 bucks of annoyance.

I just got a no plate violation for 60 and parking in a school zone for 60. So they got me twice for 120. How the Fuck did they charge u120 for one ticket?

I used to go to NYC and park in the street all the time with my S2000 (no front plate for 3 years) and never got a ticket while driving or parked. I guess it's really all luck. I know people who are ticketed regularly for it.

That's because you don't live in manhattan. One of my friends got a $300 ticket for a red light violation. Parking tickets are usually $100-$150 in manhattan. So I'm not surprised that a no plate violation is pretty high, too

But I do live there..... im in the financial district but I haves garage here. I park on the street when I spend the night in the lower east side where I get my parking tickets on the side of the road. Eachticket was 60 thank god
