Hey all,

Our new 2011 135i Coupe has 2,500 miles on the odometer and we were rear ended in a friends driveway. The bumper was hit and the rear performance spoiler was just barely nicked, with the only damage being a very small scrape smaller than a fingernail.

The nick is on the lower side of the spoiler, so the good news is you can not see it from above, only when looking from below. Because the nick is small, and since the next layer removed is still carbon fiber, it is not very noticeable.

However, the insurance company is paying for a new spoiler. I will be selling this one when the new spoiler is installed.
