Bad experience with AR Design (CP-E Intercooler)
After confirming that AR design had the CP-E intercooler and oil cooler in stock, i ordered and payed for it on January 5, 2011.
I hear nothing back and i needed the tracking info to setup my install appointment. I PM them on January 12, no response I PM them on January 14, no response I email them on January 17, no reponse I call and leave a voicemail on January 19, no response Finally i receive a fedex notification on January 20 and the product finally arrives January 25. I set up install appointment for Today. This morning i open the box to get ready for install appointment, and i find the following 1) Intercooler is packaged in AR design box not CP-E box, which confuses me as im sure CP-E has proper packing for their intercooler. 2) End tanks of intercooler is not sealed up so they are full of packaging peanuts. 3) Cardboard box was really weak and the intercooler has broken through the box and has dent on the endtank piping. 4) THE OIL COOLER AND OIL LINES ARE NOT IN THE BOX. ALSO MISSING IS 1 COUPLER, 2 TBOLT CLAMPS AND A FEW SMALLER CONNECTIONS. So i have an incomplete kit and miss my second install appointment. I have left another voicemail for AR Design, but im not happy in the slightest. Just bad overall communication and im really interested to know why the intercooler appears to have been repackaged by AR Design. Will update thread as if i actually get a response! |

Demand your money back. I don't know what's going on these days but it seems like the market is filling up with a bunch of stupid, irresponsible shops that disconnect from the buyers the moment payment is received - many startup/small wheel companies have a tendency to do this.
They all should go extinct. If you paid using Paypal or credit/debit card, open up a dispute to get your money back and send the items back to them, since apparently they won't answer your phone calls to address the problem. |

Why didn't you order direct from CP-E? Alos, it looks like that AR sold you a slightly used CP-E intercooler which would explain why it did not come with the original CP-E packaging material.

Hey,
I haven't gone through my voice mails since the middle of last week, but I don't recall any messages from you at that time? The intercooler was 100% brand new - we received them in a crate from cp-e and had to re-package some of them. I am sending you a PM with my cell phone number, please give me a call and I will get you sorted out straight away. Thanks! |
