Exhaust...HELP!

I have a 2010 E92 and I'm looking for exhaust. eBay has several Meistershaft GT systems available. Do any of you have experience with this exhaust system?

How is it vs Dinan?

Thanks!

Do your research first, there are many many exhaust options out there.

+1

It all comes down to what you want out of the system, and how much you're willing to spend.

Hey, my first first reaction after doing 5 minutes of research was , get a Meisterschaft GT2 Rear!!! It sounded insane and I was pumped for it. But then I realized that I drive my car everyday, I use my car to visit my wealthy, sophisticated clients, etc. and having an exhaust like that would really just be too much for me. I flailed around for awhile and ultimately hearing a Dinan in person, something I thought would be too quiet from all the videos and forum "ass-talking". Let me tell you, its not quiet, and is perfect for what I need.

I'm not saying don't do Meisterschaft, but definitely try to get a feel for some in person. EVen if you only hear one, maybe its not even meisterschaft, you can begin to compare the loudness of that one you've heard to the other one's via people's comparisons. For example, Dinan will be quieter than Meisterschaft, but having heard Dinan in person, it is plenty loud and therefore rules out the Meisterschaft.

My $.02, only because I spent about two weeks thinking of only exhaust and struggling to figure out what to get.

Define "ass-talking": talking from one's ass

OP asked about the GT, not the GT2! The GT is loud indeed, but the GT2 is just insane loud! I have the GT and I love it. I also visit wealthy clients with my car and they all love it.

The GT is not very intrusive inside the cabin. I mean you can definitely tell that the exhaust is not stock, though you can still enjoy a quiet drive as long as you're not going past 4000rpm. After that, it's insane! This exhaust sounds amazing! I'm 30, so I'm no youngin'. If you want a great sounding exhaust with with a very exotic tone and very little drone, get this exhaust.

Search the forums for the Meisterschaft GT and check out a video posted by NeoE46. His video is as close to the real thing as you're gonna get.

I highly recommend this exhaust.

Oops! Well, either way, I highly recommend trying to find some exhaust on a m3 so as to get sort of a base loudness from which to base the decision on. That's what worked for me in making my final decision. I thought I wanted something that ultimately was going to be much louder than what I actually wanted.

There's so many options out there that sound good the exhaust is as perplexing as trying to figure out what brand of Angel Eyes to get. I'm leaning toward Cat less Gintani Pipes with MXP sounds pretty bad ass

I like Flowmasters, but I have decided to just go with glass packs instead...I'm going for that 80's pickup truck sound.
