Hello Nation...Noob on-board

Well, I've poked around a bit and I see a plethora of experience and knowledge about these cars so I decided to join.

My apologies, I did not see a "New members" section, if I missed it again, my apologies...

I just picked up a 2008 128i Montego Blue Coupe yesterday in Maryland with 14, 5XX miles and as far as the ride home was concerned it was pretty sweet

Im typically more into motorcycles but always wanted a BMW so when it came time to let my 09 Tahoe LTZ sit because of the outrageous gas prices, I decided for something a bit more...shall we say..economical..shh thats what I told the wife

Anyways, I will be looking ofrward to learning ew things so bare with me as I commecne this journey

Regards
Lycan

Congrats and welcome!

once you delve into the N52 engine (the 128i engine) sub-forum and all the modding subforums, i'm sure you'll start enjoying your ride even more

a 128i with a powerbox, intake, exhaust and suspension upgrades is a sinfully fun ride

Thanks for the welcome, I am sure I will learn tons fromt he folks here. Ive been poking around trying to identify wheels, tires etc so that I can get some Mods done soon..Yup IM pretty much a Mod addict I cant leave well enough alone, always looking for something nice. Since this is going to be, for now, just my DD I want to enhance the loks aspect before I get deeper into engine and performance.

BTW if anyone has suggestions on wheels and tires for the 128 let me know, Ive seen alot of nice set ups but MOST seem to be on 135's..

Thanks again for the welcome..

Welcome fellow Montego owner. You'll soon learn much more than you ever thought about carbon fiber.
