E92 m3 exhaust questions

I have couple of quick questions and have not been able to find using search function.

Does 2008 factory exhaust fit on 2011 models? I see all aftermarket makers are showing 2008+, I presume they will all fit until new model is released correct?

Also, does BMW void warranty on vehicles w/aftermarket exhaust? Back in the day with my GroupeM on E46 i never had any probs, not sure what stealerships are doing these days..

Any feedback is greatly appreciated in advance!!

thanks gents!!

Millions of warranty posts saying "it depends" or "anything could always affect the warranty;mod at your own risk".

As for the fitment, yes, they all work.

BMW would have to prove that the non-oem part was the root cause of the failure that is being claimed under warranty. So I very much doubt warranty is impacted. For example if the wheels corroded, the exhaust would not effect your ability to claim for new wheels.

My dealer installed my Dinan exhaust and I have yet to have a problem. The black tips on the Dinan exhaust look really good on the black car too!

Do you still believe in fairy tales ? BMW would just deny warranty, and YOU would be the one having to prove them wrong. And the odds would be against you . Nothing wrong modding your car knowing the risks, however. Good day.

Where UK Law is concerned, the onus is not on the claimant. It's up to the person(s) disputing a claim to prove otherwise.

This is fair and also common sense.

actually it is the same in the US... they do have to find the root cause before denying warranty....
