Bought a new Camera yesterday and thought I'd test it out on my baby...
Exterior-wise I've done the Tinting, the BMW Performance Grilles, and the Shadowline Model Designation. Got a rear diffuser being painted in Shadowline right now - picking it up and installing on the weekend... After that I think the only thing I'm gonna do is wheels... still tossing up between different wheels or powder-coating the 261s... Although I'm considering B&W Roundels - opinions? - Harlequin |

Go Black & White Roundels if you're not afraid
I reckon the blue & white really adds a perfect touch of colour to an AW and Shadowline 1er. Just a tiny bit of colour and it's fantastic! Plus, white-blue-black looks great |

Really nice pics mate. AW 135i always looks so damn sweet. Powdercoat/Paint it gunmetal - for me that's the perfect colour wheels on a AW car.
BMW86, I use a D90, pretty great as a starter. |

As for deciding between wheels or powder coating, I would go with a new set of wheels and either sell the stock ones or keep them. 261's will always be 261's. I've heard that's a very good camera. I would like to get the D7000 but it's fairly pricey. |

D7K is awesome, but very pricey for something you won't fully exploit for a long time. D90 is bit better than intro SLR and is really good at low light performance - car shorts, scenery - I like that stuff. Have some awesome shots from on top of Empire State! Ultimately lenses is where the real difference (also $$$$) is at. Really need to take mine out more often.

^^^Sweeeet...best bang for your buck lens in the entire Canon branded lens lineup!
BTW did you mean the 18mm-135mm or the 18-55mm because I cannot find a 18-35 lens in their lineup? If you mean the regular 18-55 kit lens, do you plan on upgrading and what do think you would get? I just cross-shopped and settled for the Sigma 17 - 50mm f/2.8 EX DC OS HSM |

Just upgraded my canon 50d to a canon 5d mark 2 and all this talk is making me want to take it out for a photoshoot. I went for the 24-105mm f4 L lens and a sigma 85mm 1.4. The shallow depth of field on the sigma is just amazing. I wish I had saved my money originally and just gone straight for the full frame and decent lens, makes a huge difference.

its easy to spend alot on lenses, i have spent about 10k in the last year, canon L lenses are a nasty addiction, however for the most fun and awesome sharpness the Zeiss planar 50mm T 1,4 is a bargain for $750. Alot less then the Canon 50mm f1.2 L. only drawback is manual focus, this website shows a good image of it, no review yet. but i highly recommend.
http://www.the-digital-picture.com/R...ns-Review.aspx on a smaller sensor this will act like 85mm lens Harlequin nice pics by the way, 60d is a nice camera, canon rules |

Went with Nikon, just because I liked how the build quality and weight felt in my hand - purely emotional and aesthetic purchase! Do you guys constantly carry your cameras on you/in the car? Can we leave these things in the car during the day in the down under heat? Harlequin, sorry about the thread jack. |
