How much do you pay for your 135i insurance?
Was just curious to see how much everyone pays. I get the feeling I'm always being ripped off by insurance so thought I'd start this... Let's go with yearly figures in this format, I'll start it off (135i only!!):
Year: 2011 Color: Alpine white Age: 23 Yrs w/ License: 5 Points on License: No License Suspension last 3 yrs: Yes (oops.. will be wiped out in may ) Accidents last 3 yrs: 0 Location: Central PA Policy: $200,000 Combined Single Limit Deductible: $1,000 Insurance Company: Amica TOTAL PER YEAR: $2,015 If I did not have the license suspension: $1,600 I think I got most items that significantly impact the price covered, if not chime in. Let's not get into waay too much detail. PS: License suspension getting wiped off soon, should save at least $400 or so Last edited by N55_BBM; 03-31-2011 at 08:18 PM.. |

2011 135i with DCT. I'm 35, no accidents, no points. Full coverage including $1,000,000 for liability, $1,500 loss of use, and depreciation waiver. Discounts for multi-vehicle and home insurance but I pay 30% extra as I have business use coverage as I drive my 1er for work. I pay $1,563/year

2008 135i, no accidents, tickets, points. 1Mil coverage, 0/100 deduct, dc area (which blows), 864/yr and that's for this and my wife's car with exact same coverages.
PS, you should all definitely show around, I was just content with my old insurance co I had for years and was SHOCKED at the difference in what I was paying vs what now...I was paying close to $3k/yr with this same coverage (had 3 cars then though). Same for home, went from 1600 to 949 just by looking around. Same or better coverage |

$1600/year for my '08 135i convertible and my wife's '11 Accord. I had my license revoked for 5 years for having too many infractions (i know, i was young and stupid). No tickets/accidents in the last 3 years though. Have full coverage $100k/$300k +$500 deductible with GEICO

You should see what some ppl pay over here in Germany. I got a good deal for my 2011 vert paying $140 monthly(7,000,000 coverage) but USAA wanted as much as 450-500 a month. They are nuts.

Most people here should know, a good speeding ticket lawyer is worth every penny. Find one, make friends, and use him.
