How to Dyno a 2011.5 DCT
Today i had my M3 dynoed and we could only do 1 full run. The car would lower its redline and will not go past 6K rpm. I noticed when i was at OE they had the same issue. Is there any custom steps or a easy way to dyno this?

I know on the older M5's (E39), you had to remove the DSC fuse for it to carry all the way to redline. Maybe try turning DSC off first, if that doesn't help, pull the fuse.

Once upon a time, you could disable DSC by holding down the button for X number of seconds.

Someone should experiment...
Fuses for DSC ABS and anything to do with the safety features of the car as far as driving should be disabled most likely...like in the e46 m3 dyno era.

There was a 2011 that dynoed just fine. Thats why i decided to dyno my car. But my 2011.5 would lower the rev limit to 6K rpm.

There are steps to get the M3 to work on a dyno. I had the same problem the first time i dynod my car. I forgot the steps but i know that you have to keep the RPM steady at 4K for a couple of minutes i think until all the lights on the dash come up. I don't remember the procedure exactly, but search around.

No need to worry on E9X M3, there is no dyno mode present.

Turn traction control off. You have to drive the car on the dyno for a few minutes (5-10 minutes) and then you`ll be able to do your runs. We were able to dyno our DCT M3 just fine and did over 15 pulls.

Just curious, was the seatbelt on during the runs? M3s with ISTA/P 2.45.X requires this due to a CAS misalignment bug, which should be corrected when 2.46 is released.
You'll know if you have 2.45 if the transmission switches out of gear if not seatbelted when driving off.
