M Coupe Performance Package expected ??
Hi, does anyone know if we can expect some performance parts for the M Coupe like springs, short shifter or HP increase etc?

I really hope they will come with a Performance program and our friend Scott26 suggested this months ago but i think it's not likely if you ask me.
Lets pray for it

Sorry guys, I think its very unlikely to have a full suite of upgrades.
The car is obviously already 'upgraded' and with the limited numbers and possible take up of parts, I can't see the bean counters giving it too much time. Plus, as already discussed, the performace is so close the the M3 already, I can't see BMW wanting to make it quicker still. I'm happy to be proven wrong and if so, I'll have a carbon rear diffuser please. |

Power isn't an issue with the 135 and likely not an issue with the 1M. Where the 135 falls short is suspension, traction, etc which are the areas where the 1M shines. Some extra jam under the hood is gravy. |

There has been some little noise here and there to suggest there might be some performance kit available

"I changed to AW on the account of some cool options that suit white better than Valencia Orange. Learn more later this year." Looks like some performance parts is coming - especially the M strips.

I dunno if I would call decals 'performance' parts, if they added 5hp we would all have them Agree those would look better on an AW car, perhaps even on the BSM but def out of place on the VO. For the latter, maybe a grey color scheme (3 stripes in different escalating shading) would work better, though not really true to the BMW Motorsport tradition
