Approved Exhaust systems

Been searching the thread on approved exhaust systems suitable for my country.

I understand that the US exhaust systems such as Meisterschaft does not provide TUV, sound test EEC certification and the technical drawing of their systems, is that true?

Otherwise, which are the brands that can provide the following certifications?

Thanks.

Thanks Dackelone, yes BMW performance exhaust is the only one so far. I'm looking if there are after market ones.

What after market brands do you guys use in Germany?

Eisenmann has TUV versions. I have a couple friends in Singapore and they dont run TUV certified exhausts, never had a problem either.

The Eisenmann exhaust are VERY pricey over here. For example the BMW Per exhaust runs about 830 euros (w/19% MwSt (German sales tax)). And Eisenmann "basic" exhaust runs about 1,500 euros and up. I think Eisenmann makes three different exhaust with dual tips for the 135i.

You only need TUV for the saftey inspections every two years over here. Or... when and IF you get oulled over by the Polizei - they can check your car for TUV approved mods AND those mods muct be in your car's registration papers. IF not... $$$$ fine and points. THAT is why TUV approval is so important over here to Germans.
