Pipe before the charge pipe/dv pipe. Cant get one?

I have looked all over the internet for an answer before giving in and asking on here. My pipe before my diverter pipe on the intercooler side is collapsed. It has a metal coil around it to support it but where it bends its kinked. Looking at realoem it looks like it is only available with the $194 charge pipe - which is dumb bc it has a clamp on each end its not one piece. Does this make sense? Anyone have this issue? Maybe I need to make one I have some 2.5" i.c piping left over from another build.
Heres the realoem link
http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...85&hg=13&fg=20
its the piece to the right of number 17.

Yep, looks like you have to buy both pieces on that site. You could probably buy just that piece from ER or ETS or someone like that. Or maybe someone has that stock piece laying around unused. Try running an ad here or preferably on the 335 side of the house.

My ETS FMIC came with some replacement piping, I'll see if I have what you need laying around myself.

I removed this (very soft) rubber pipe off the charge pipe and replaced it with a "Samco" 45% elbow one instead to improve flow and bore size. It's a bit of a pig to get the ring off but the Standard 45% elbow only need a very small bit trimmed off one end and its a perfect fit.

Do a search on here for "My DIY Charge Pipe Projects Pictures" and I put pics up when I did it. I also removed alot of plastic "flashing" from inside the actual charge pipe to help it flow better. BMW only supply these parts together and it is VERY expensive
