Reverse Mirror Question
After having the car for awhile, and the mirrors functioning normally, the passenger side mirror is the only that rotates down on reverse. Any idea what's causing this? Could it be something with the Driver's seat memory?

That's a normal feature to assist with parallel parking. You can turn it on/off by which mirror you select to adjust. You can read more about in the owners manual.

On my car, only the passenger side mirror rotates down as well. It's supposed to be like that. Did your driver side mirror rotate down before?? I don't think it's supposed to do that unless they added it on newer cars..

Look up "Passenger side mirror tilt function -Automatic Curb Monitor". It's called a curb monitor because the curb you wish to see is on the passenger side - unless you are driving on the wrong side of the road. You'll also discover that only the passenger mirror is designed to automatically tilt down and how you can disable that feature if desired. Tom |
