Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures, but what a blast! Great weather, great time.
The RMC BMWCCA Page on Facebook has several pictures. Hope to see more here.

I was there working corners Sunday (also no pics). Beautiful weather & a 2011 E90 M3 won favorite car.
Both the E9x M3 student cars out sounded particularly gorgeous coming into & exiting out of turn 11. Andrew Cofelt's E92 M3... meh... not so much. But there were also a couple of M5's that about made my heart stop every lap. Man, those things are MEAN sounding!

E60 M5? Would love to hear one of those at the track, love that sound (esp with a good aftermarket exhaust.) Thanks for the updates.

There was one of each: E39 & E60. They both sounded great. Pretty sure the E39 had aftermarket exhaust, but I would guess the E60 was stock. I couldn't vote for the E60 M5 as my favorite simply on the principle that the guy who brought it out... brought it our dirty!!!

I spoke to the E60 M5 driver. He bought it used. Previous owner installed Dinan exhaust and headers. It was the best sounding car of the weekend, hands down, IMO.

I think the E60 has Dinan. Dinan exhausts have always kind of left me with a shrug, except on that V10. He was parked not far from me, and every time he started it up, it was music.

Thanks for volunteering. Sorry I didn't get the chance to talk to you. One of my instructors mentioned your quite the driver in your E90.

I do have some decent videos from my new GoPro from the weekend. I'll see if I can't get it uploaded soon.

Peter's awesome. My husband & I got to know him out at Hastings last year. He & Mac can drive the shiz out of their E36's. Seriously impressive. If you want to get out to the track before the fall school, you should check out the NASA schedule (I know, I probably sound like a walking advertisement for them...). Bruce Leggett is their group 4 leader (akin to A groups in BMW CCA speak) just so you know I'm not the only BMW CCA nut over there. Feel free to PM me with any questions you have about the car on the track - brake setup, etc. It's a fantastic car to learn track driving on. My husband keeps wanting me to drive his E36 race car and I just... can't. The R8 was beautiful but wasn't being driven anywhere near it's potential so it was hard to vote for it when you made yours sing so beautifully. Definitely! Would love to see that!

Car of the day and most improved driver both days? Unheard of. Congratulations! I drove like poop the whole weekend. I had Mac (white e36 m3) as instructor on Sunday and Clay T. (red RX-7) on Saturday. Highlight of the weekend for me was doing the prarie corkscrew particularly well (a rare occurrence that weekend) on Saturday with Clay and he yells out. "F&CK YEAAAA!!! LOVE THIS SH!T!!!". I laughed my butt off down the whole front straight! It was hard to concentrate for T#1. dnvrdrvr, I had particular trouble with T#11, I tried a variety of lines to try to get my car to rotate better in there. It was particularly nasty to keep speed in there when someone knocked those cones onto the road at turn entry in the last afternoon session.

Just nominated for most improved both days. Some really well deserved drivers were the actual winners but it was cool to have my name mentioned both days.

Has the vibration eased up since you posted? I experienced the same thing, but the deposits diminished and in a couple of days I had no noticeable effect anymore. That said, I agree about better pads.

Mine is still pretty bad. I was thinking about at least looking for a set of used race pads that I could install and see if they would clean off the discs. I'd just put on some new race pads but I haven't ruled out a big brake kit.
