Vanguard Ti Exhaust installed E90 M3
Just got a new Vanguard Titanium exhaust installed over the holiday weekend! Thanks to Eric and Tam at Supreme Power for hooking me up with this sweet exhaust, and to LTBMW for doing the install!
I never heard this exhaust in person before purchasing it, so I based my decision off of reviews on this site and YouTube videos After the install, I can confirm that the reviews are accurate. I LOVE the sound!!! It certainly is louder cruising around town. Its loudest in the cabin around 2k rpms. The thing sings at WOT! Its also pretty deep and has some rumble to it down low. I can feel some vibrations through the floor boards and pedals at low rpm. At freeway cruising speeds, there's no drone at all and it practically sounds stock. The fit is great and it looks soooo nice Right after I installed it, I grabbed some lunch at a restaurant and saw my car through the window -- with the blued canisters and large tips... so sexy! Can't wait to drive the car again!!!! Last edited by Empower3d; 05-31-2011 at 12:30 AM.. Reason: typo :P |

^ did you end up getting the proper e90 tips? I had one and I was sad because mine had the longer tips and they stuck out too much. Maybe a picture from the side?

I have one myself. I also love it. Just the weight reduction alone is awesome! That thing is LIGHT. I was amazed.
Enjoy the exhaust! FYI, kitw, mine has adjustable tips and I was able to adjust it just fine for my E90. Although it was all the way in, it looks good and is about at stock length. I wonder why yours was all screwed up?

Tim, the Vanguards apparently can ship with 2 different length tips. Dunno if they all ship with the e90 version now, but my original vanguard (which I bought used) had long tips, they were like 2" beyond the bumper's furtherest rearward part, even adjusted all the way in.

Doesn't stick out alot but a diffuser would really finish that area off.
