What non-RFT are you running

Guys,

The run flats go soon!

What are you running and how do they feel / handle?

I'm keeping the 255/30R19 sizing on the rears (first change out).

Pirelli P Zero

Contis?

Bridgestone RE050 or RE001?

Stay away from contis. The 5p is a bitch to warm up and the sportcontact 3 extra load I currently have have very soft sidewalls and suffer on twisties. There is a new version of "5" launching shortly (not 5p) but leave others test it.
I hear good things about pzero from m3 owners but I didn't like the grip on a mercedes.
Pzero nero is a great choice (yet outdated by current fuel economy technologies or marketing for that matter). It warms up quickly, has great support while cornering and they can last up to 30tkm if you don't slip them (yeah, I know).
Also have a look at the new goodyear f1 asymmetric2, they are supposed to have advanced characteristics compared to nero. I am debating between those two for my dd.
Michelin pilot super sport is another fresh option, you may want to contact Roman@ess who is currently using them to get his opinion.

I just put on Bridgestone Pole Positions 04. Very highly rated, better tread wear rating than OEM and they're the latest generation of Pole Positions so they'll be around for a while. Very happy with them.

I've used on my previous E93 (19"/255/30) Michelin PS2 (Pilot Sport) great tires, very good grip once warmed and handles pretty much hot weather (I live in Hong Kong). the 1 st set I had where Pirelli PZero Nero.. Best wheels I've ever had. One thing I did not like about though, they are noisy!

Im sticking with my falken fk 452s. Ive heard the Pirellis were overrated though. The last set of tires I bought were Toyos but I prefer the falkens to them even if they are considered inferior. :

non-RFTs

Conti DW's (not DWS), as I drive warm weather all year round. Have Contisport 3's on my M3 which replaced the Michelins and love them also. Took the new Conti's up to North Carolina and did the Blue Ridge Parkway and Tail of the Dragon and they were great both dry and wet, very impressed

AD08s are very good street / light track tires. Use them for rain tires on all my track cars. Going to let my wife take the Z4 to the track in the coming weeks with them. Also bought a set of 18" wheels and Hankook Z214 rcomps for the Z. We'll see if it makes any difference in lap times

Contis DWS. like the ride much better, but agree sidewalls are soft. I guess that is tradeoff for the better ride.

Michelin Pilot Super Sport on 18" wheels.

Just love them! The car feels and handles so much better.

I use Bridgestone Blizzak RFT on 17" in the winter.

How do the Super Sport seem for tread life?

THanks for the feedback guys.

Availability here is limited...

Probably sounds like the Pirelli or Goodyears then so far.

So far no noticeable wear despite a few bouts of very "spirited" driving.
They do have a high treadwear rating.

my Z4 is on Goodyear F1 asymmetric2 for over a year, and my family car C32 AMG is on P-Zero, both cars with 18' wheels. i would say P-Zero has better grip but F1 got quiet & smoother ride.
