is it ok to install Akrapovic Slip-on, intake and do some coding?

hey all,

my car just hit the port in the EAST COAST yesterday, and I'm expecting to get her in two weeks or so.
I have Akrapovic Slip-On exhaust in my room right now and I want to get the intake right away. I'm also planning to do some coding. My question is, do I need to wait until AFTER the 1,200 service? or can I add the mods and do some coding before the service?

I'm wondering if I would have to re-coding the car after the service lol

anyways, please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Ken

Depends on the Dealer. I had a full Akra Evo on before my 1,200 service. I wouldn't worry about coding as well. Currently, there are no new campaigns that your car will be subject to.

I would wait. Get to know your car and it's capabilities. Learn to drive it with DSC off. Do a proper aggressive break in......by that I mean drive the car HARD within the rpm limits and do a lot of engine braking.

Then put on your mods. Why? Because it will that much more exciting. If you do everyhing at once, you will get bored fast. You will have to find more and more things to mod, just for the sake of modding. PACE YOUR MODDING. Remember, modding your car is an ongoing hobby.

Yeah I agree with pacing

but don't take tooo long

cause you would spend the $ anyways, so might as well be able to enjoy the mod for longer :P

Then again I'm leased, so if you bought the car it's a different story
I know the car will be gone in about 2 years, so I need to enjoy it to the fullest :P

Enjoy it to the fullest. No reason to wait if you're going to do it anyway.
