Purchasing from Texas Dealerships
I'm looking to order a 2012 M3 Coupe and was wondering if anyone has purchased their car at invoice or close to invoice in TX? Austin doesn't seem to want to negotiate much since they don't get many allocations on M3s. Just wondering what other dealerships I might have better luck with. Thanks!

I got my car from Chris Markey at BMW of Austin. I heard he was great (he is) and decided that avoiding haggling and getting a good long-term relationship was worth a bit of extra cash as opposed to fighting for every penny and having him hate me, so I emailed him an offer for $1500 over invoice and he took it. I thought it was fair.

The SA dealership told me they would do $2k over, I was recently able to get one for $1.5k over (before rebates/loyalty money) from a dealer in Houston. PM me if you want the name of the dealer/salesman I used.
After all of the rebates, including refund of the disposition fee from a car I turned in a few months ago, will end up about $1850 under invoice. I needed a four-door, so ordering wasn't an option. I thought about getting one from Ryan, but it wouldn't save any money if I had it shipped or had to take the time to go there and drive it back. If you have the time, you could order through Ryan and do performance center delivery and drive it back. |

ordered mine from BMW of Houston North at a great price but the CA is no longer working there (he's the new GM at Northside Fiat now) - there seems to be a good number of M cars that go through there

Try Momentum BMW West. I bought my M3 and X5 there and the X5 was 1k over invoice even though it was one of two in that specific color in the US at the time.
