Feeler: 2011 e90 m3 ZCP AW/BL DCT Lease Assumption So Cal
If this M3 looks familiar, you're not hallucinating. I just assumed the lease a few weeks ago ... and then got a potential job offer out of the country. So this is just a feeler at this point but I should know more shortly. It is absolutely stock, in perfect shape and drives like an absolute dream. A very very fast dream that handles very very well. – Competition Package – Convenience Package – M-DCT – Moonroof – BMW Apps – Heated Seats – 15k mile a year lease – ~2800 miles on it now so it is under mileage – Payment is ~$903/month before tax – Current Payoff: $65,000 – Lease Ends August 26, 2014 (32 months) – Option to Buy at end of lease: $42,500 – Cash incentive + Transfer fee to lower payment TBD – BMW iPhone dock – WeatherTech floormats (and factory mats) – BMW metallic front window shade – Safe Lease wear + tear protection – Phantom Footprint See sticker picture for the rest of the details. If it turns out that I will be putting the car up for assumption, I will be looking for a standard lease transfer (with incentive to the person taking the lease over), meaning no trades or unusual situations. Any interest, please PM me. I'm located in LA close to Los Feliz. Last edited by dfuzz; 11-26-2011 at 10:07 PM.. Reason: adding more info |

Thanks for all of the interest. It is looking very probable that the car will be available shortly.
The incentive will likely be somewhere around the $2k I received, and part of that would go to the $500 assumption fee. Apparently I need to wait for BMWFS to receive the newly-generated title to start the assumption process. This could take 2-6 weeks depending on workload and luck. So if you are in need of a car immediately, this might not be the one for you. However, if you're not in a rush and are still interested, please feel free to PM me. In the event that we reach a deal, I am willing to garage the vehicle pending paperwork. And my apologies for the runaround. RE: Enhanced Premium Sound: The word is that it's not nearly worth the money. However, these are amazing and the owner is super cool. |

Can someone tell me how these Lease assumptions work for a guy who is looking to buy a car outright in cash?
I've seen like 4-5 threads on 2011 cars that people want to get out of the lease - why is that?
