FS: custom sub enclsure with NEW sub
Pulling out my audio sytem. This is a custom fabricated fiberglass sub specifically for the Hertz 10" driver- to which I have a BNIB sub. It has a custom grill that makes it totally look OEM while protecting the sub. Hertz subs are very well known in Europe and gaining traction as competition for JL her in the states. The sub retails for ~$370 and worth every penny. It is the 4 ohm version of the HX250 and handles 450 RMS- 900 peak. Other 10" drivers will fit, but the mounting holes have T-nut inserts for the Hertz. You could run other screws into the baffle ring for other drivers, but it would be a shame as this is a fantastic sub. The pictures below show the Hertz Mille ML2500 sub, but I sold that separately. Included is a brand new HX250. You have to remove the seat release to drop the enclosure in- and it is a TIGHT fit to keep it in place. What grill looks like from behind Brand new sub: Asking $500 plus shipping for the combo. Probably will have to ship the two separately to ensure no damage to the box or sub- it is a stout sub. Here is a pic from car audio mag: |

That is a great question.... to which I do not know the answer.
What would it be worth to you if I were to find one and check? Could it be making the trip with the SSMB8s? |
