Nine weeks to delivery

Now its only nine weeks left to delivery of the "ultimate driving machine"

For the last months i have daily visited this forum to read the latest news and, all you lucky ones who already got your M5´s your great reports of the car

After seeing the MC blue in real life a couple days ago i now change color for the Citrine Black instead, cant wait to see it live

The wait is a torture..

Have own 14 great BMW´s but never a M model so the expectations are enormous

My dealer said he had a citrine black car in the showroom a few weeks ago and it looked utterly stunning!! Congratulations - I only survived the wait by coming on here constantly :-)

is the blue looks very bad in real life? why would you change it from MCB to black?

Waiting is a pain, the more you love it the more difficult the wait gets

it will get more difficult the more you approach the delivery date

My advice would be not to have very high hopes, I had such hopes for M6 E63 and the day I got it I was not impressed driving in "M" mode in automatic and thinking "ok great, but is this it?". It takes a long time to know your car and its maximum potential, I'd say very few of us owners are actually capable of taking this car to its limits due to lacking driving skill and experience. So don't expect too much, but once you'll learn it by 2000 and 5000 break-in periods, full sports plus M mode, MDM and manual red-lining should absolutely blow you away

Owning a M-car is very special IMO. Nothing like a normal BMW.
I think that You won´t be disappointed. I have owned a lot of BMW´s and 4 M´s total ( M5, M3, M5, M3 ). It´s always been a mix, so has been easy to compare.

Nine weeks is not so long time.....................or.......?

My car will be produced next week!

I am not a betting person but seeing as I live an hour and 10 minutes north of you, probably right. You are also getting yours at alot larger dealer so I maybe a day or so longer

The cars will probably leave Bremmerhaven together for the ocean journey as we are both March production

Does anyone else on the forum have a March production F10 M5 in Canada ?

No it dont looks bad!! But IMO the car looks better i black

and the Citrine black i think looks great a sunny day

Thanks all! I belive i will love the car! I really like my 550iX with Hartge ECU (490hk and aprox 700nM) its the best BMW i own so far but soon i think the M5 will be it

I will post photos as soon as i get the car

and a first review.

nordic, I'd like to see your citrine black in real life, not just pictures. Is it an Individual color ?

I have never driven a 1M but it must be a fun car!!?
The Citrine is a individual color, ofcourse you ca see it live

I live in Karlskrona but Sweden is a small country

I have to brake it in first, 2000 km to start with and the first service to be completed.
The planning of what to modify has started and I have some nice stuff to be installed when the brake in period is completed.

nordic, Sweden is quite a small country when you have such nice cars as we do.

Seems like most owners are choosing more conservative colors despite BMW pushing the blue color in all it's marketing.
