Help: What's this service light for?
Not sure i am on the right place to ask for this kind of question.
I got this service light here and didnt know what's it for. When i start up it's on and go away after few seconds. It didnt happen before i installed the lower springs (i unpluged some sensors here and there) Did i mess up something here? Right now it has 980 miles on it. Or it's just 1200 miles service reminder. 135i dont required 1200 miles service isnt it? Thanks Turned out just brake sensor, reset and everything just fine Last edited by Everfly; 04-15-2012 at 10:11 AM.. |

Unless you have an M model, there is no 1200 mile service.
So it looks like you confused the computer by messing with the sensors. You might check the time/mileage remaining for other services through the dash, but I suspect you'll have to have your dealer correct it - otherwise you may not get the covered services you are entitled to. Tom |

Is there a method for the owner to see what the code is for or does the dealer have the only access?
Edit. Found the info in the manual. Using the up button on the left stalk to access the menu. |
