Service Interval - Annual Inspection?
G'day Guys.
A question to clarify on the service intervals for the E9X series M3's. Outside of the Condition Based Servicing system in the car, is there an additional 'Annual Inspection' that the vehicle prompts you to get completed? I ask, as on my M3 that does relatively low mileage, the Condition Based Servicing system is currently showing that next service / inspection is not due to 2013, which would make it longer than 1 year since last service, which seems quite a long time. Note I've asked this here, as I though the AU spec cars might be set up differently to the rest of the world in this regard. Note, I have an '08 if that makes any difference. Cheers, Deano. |

Mine doesn't show an annual inspection on idrive, but there is a vehicle inspection which gets done as part of an oil change. Just checking the basics like coolant, etc AFAIK.
I feel CBS interval is too great, so get additional oil changes every 10,000km |

Annual inspection is for E46's or some older cars.
From E90 onward, all the servicing is base on CBS. Vehicle inspection should be perform every year. Engine oil change is 25000 kms. But personaly oil should get change every year or 10000 kms. |
