N55 single pipe downpipe on 135i??
Anyone tried this yet? Seems pretty easy to do. Im thinking either one of two options.

I'm confused as to why this would be easy. You're trying to fit a single turbo DP with one inlet onto a twin turbo with 2 outlets. Won't work sorry.
I think what you're thinking of is having a 2 inlet DP merge to make one big outlet with a custom midpipe. I guess that's possible. Edit: My bad, was thinking of sticking an N55 DP onto an N54.

Not aware of any regularly available downpipe+midpipe combo that is single pipe all the way. It could be done, but I'm not sure there is a enough demand. The parts would not be compatible with anything else. Sticking with the standard flange means the parts are interchangeable with stock or other aftermarket parts. I'm sure many people choose to get downpipes first and later do the rest, or vice-versa.
I wouldn't hold your breath.

I get what you're saying man! I wouldn't chop the dual outlets off your stock dp though. Buy a BMS 3.5" cattless dp and chop the dual outlets off and weld on a 3" pipe and run that all the way to the back, and I guess add a resonator or muffler or something if you wanted to somewhere along the line. The only issue that you might run into is where the o2 sensors are at. It could be worked around though I'm sure! Anything is possible! Do IT! Post pics and vids!
