E89 cargo capacity wins

Check out 2 recent cargo capacity wins by my E89... taking the dog to the vet and taking an 80% discounted carpet home

Who says 2 seaters are impractical?!

The trunk is amazing too. I can't believe I can fit a cligear pushcart, a full size golfbag with driver inside, and a bag for clothes and shoes without placing a thing in the front.

I was absolutely horrified when I saw the trunk "space" for the Jaguar F-Type. I was like "Fuck that, I'll keep my Z4 TYVM"

I have gotten $250, about 15 bags of grocerys in the trunk with 20 roll packs of TP and paper towels in the passenger front seat.

We also take the Z to the beach with chairs and cooler in hand.

The trunk space is fantastic and usable. I love it.

That's *if* you don't have the spare tire.

Our storage space RULES, esp since it's a *hardtop* convertible and only a 2 seater, so not sure about any detractors saying that it's not enough space.

Re Jaguar...pathetic! ...*and* it's a SOFTtop...do they have an extra engine under there? Again, pathetic. I digress, Jaguar made a pretty car, but no DCT and no hardtop, they screwed up bigtime there. Now, w/ the lousy trunk space for no discernible reason? Crazy.

I guess this is the upside of cars getting bigger. We fit an assembled and unassembled TV stand plus 2 storage bins into the 3er a few weekend ago.

Seriously, the trunk space in the E89 rules.

The trick is to pack everything for your 2 person / 2 week roadtrip under the plastic hard top cover so you can still put the top down:

Again, not my car, not my stuff and not me on the picture - and I believe that the guy on the picture only planned a golf weekend with all that booze

nickaz, is that a special dog seat cover? I want to get a dog but want a good way to carry him around without dirtying the car.
