Thanks for the post Jason.
FYI - I just got off the phone with my dealership and there are 942 BMW X5s currently at the VPC (including mine). Anyone have any intel to share regarding when BMW with release them? hoping not all 950 are PCDs - going to be a long wait - haha |

It feels great in hand too. Nice heft to it, with real metal. Love how thin it is compared to the current bulky keyfobs.

Cross traffic detection!
Did everybody notice the cross traffic detection integrated in the front and backup cameras? it's in the "BMW Panoramic Front Camera" video. I think this is the first time this is available in BMW... at least to my knowledge! (including the front camera as well)
I've driven some cars with that feature and it's really useful when backing out of a parking with big vehicles parked next to yours blocking your visibility to the sides... it's like a blind spot monitor for reversing |
