135is bumper defect
I just took over a lease of a 135is and when I got it delivered I noticed a gap between the bumper and the driver's side headlight. It looked like it had been bumped because the gap was larger and not equal to the other side. Anyway, my dealer said that some of the 135is models were shipped with warped bumpers and they agreed to replace it under warranty. Anyway, just wanted to know if any other members have noticed this. Also, they tried to fix and it looks much better. Should I get it replaced and painted or should I just keep the bumper that came with the car even though it is slightly warped.
Feedback appreciated. Thanks...

The gap isn't surprising considering it was probably removed and reinstalled when the ppk v2 was being installed at vdc. Paint defect on the other hand is a different issue and if that's evident in the finish I'd get it replaced. Question is though how would they warranty it? I doubt they'd get a factory painted bumper shipped to dealer. If they are going to outsource a local body shop that might even look worse. But if you have no intentions of buying out your lease really doesn't matter IMO.
