F15 xDrive 50 delivered ...
and it's amazing!!!
Got the M Sport with 20" Wheels. Carbon black with Terra dakota. No pictures yet cause I got it late evening and iphone camera can't do it justice (professional cameras couldn't neither). My impressions so far: Exterior: the car looks much better than in pictures, it is much bigger than I thought and the proportions are very harmonious. The front is extremely imposing, and the back very aggressive, at least with the M and the 20". The exhausts are huuuge, I could fit both my hands! Interior: this thing is packed with all sort of standard gadgets. The ambience lighting is standard and offers many combinations between bleu white and orange. The 1-8 radio buttons can also be used as speed dials, just pass your finger in front of them and the name is displayed. There are distinct settings for 4 different user, where you can have the seats, radio channels, speed dials, lights, etc. all configured individually for each user. The big display is nice, and you can even see the deployed power and torque. Wow!! The pano roof is quite large and opens generously. The list is long... Engine: simply amazing, got to 120 km/h in no time and in absolute comfort. I traded in a 911 997S and I think the beemer is quicker, or at least I was bluffed by its raw power. There is a small turbo lag in Eco and Comfort, but is substantially reduced in Sport and Sport+ modes. No complaints on the steering neither. I am sure many more things will come up as I drive it, and will share with you. In conclusion, the car deserves absolute respect, despite what might be said here and there. Another big hit for BMW. |

iPhone pics are as good as anything unless you're a skilled photographer that adjusts all the settings and lighting etc. if you're just using the auto settings, like most of us, they're good enough for the internet! Post 'em lol.

Exterior Pics
The back is very aggressive with the M and the 20", I don't regret 1 sec my choice there
Also as you can see there is the M badge on the side but I don't think it is on the US version |

Interior Pics
The interior is stunning, the color combination looks perfect for those considering it.
Also the sport steering wheel is a must and enhances greatly the interior. I think it is an option you can order for non-M sport. Last picture is the torque and power display gauges, which you can display on the central console. First time i see this in a car |

I just ordered mine. I noticed the aluminum roof rails (which I ordered already) too.
I'm going to do same window trim. Thanks for post and photos. |
