White on White X5? Feedback?
Hey guys. Just placed an order for the X5.
I was wondering what people thought about Alphine White with Ivory White and Black Dakota leather? Do you think it would look weird? I initially picked beige but the Ivory White had the center console in Black and I think that would look much better and easier to keep clean as well. I am not too worried about the white seats though. Thoughts? Best, John

I would definitely go with Ivory black. It sounds like such a winning combo

Lol yeah but I shouldn't have a problem. We are not jean-wearers. But I should definitely keep some leather cleaner in the car haha

I'm in the UK and have gone for Mineral White + Ivory/Black ... another 3+ weeks of waiting until the F15 is released here but car has been built.
I'm hoping this will be quite a striking combo. I initially opted for full Ivory which is available in the UK without Nappa but was worried about keeping so much ivory clean. I've stayed away from wood trims going for the Hexagon trim which should give a modern, bright, clean (at least initially!) and spacious look combined with the ivory/black upholstery. |

Would have love to see mineral white in the x5. I saw it before on the M3 and it was a lil silver-y under certain lighting. I don't like silver. Did you get your car yet?

No I haven't, mine is a week 45 production date, so looking at mid Dec which I like as I can enjoy the drive as much as I can during Holiday time
As for the Mineral white yes it does look a bit silverish in sunlight, I saw a 7 series in mineral white and I loved it. Alpine is great too. Enjoy !! |

Personally, I like that the mineral white has more a silvery-white tone than typical "pearl white" metallics that have a more champagne/beige tone to them. I think the silver flake keeps it a truer white, just with that little bit of depth and luster.. FWIW, in bright sun, I didn't necessarily think it looked silver at all, certainly not like looking at an actual silver car. We're ordering the mineral white with terra leather. That demo was actually what made us switch from black sapphire metallic. Same idea as the ivory/black, everything is black except the leather. |

Just know that you will most likely have to custom order it. Every white car that we could find (searched entire US market) it only came w/Mocha or Beige interior. Ivory/black was a must for us b/c we wanted the "WOW look when anyone were to step in the car....haha.

Thanks and any comments on Space Gray and Canberra Beige combo? I ordered it coming from a 2011 space gray black combo. Want to go lighter this time around. I also got the Lux seating and mc seats.
