WTB: N55 Mid Pipes

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
Just as the title says, want to buy a set of N55 mid pipes for my N54.

Also willing to purchase a different set of resonated catless mid-pipes at a N55 mid price-point.

I'm located in SoCal (Huntington Beach) and would REALLY prefer local pickup as we can all assume how shipping a 5-6ft set of pipes can be.

Let me know what you've got. Thanks!

Bought mine brand new from TMS - http://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-13...5-midpipe.aspx

These were cheaper than everyone was selling their used ones for.

The reason why everyone wants the N55 mid pipes for their N54 is that way they can delete the secondary cats on the N54. It makes the engine a lot louder at WOT but not that much louder at cruising. But it is loud when you get on it. They also (might) give you some top end power. But I felt they lost some power down low(~2K rpms range).

IF you look in the DIY section... you can find my N55 mid pipe DIY and how I later switched back and installed a Performance Exhaust in the end. I was really hoping the N55 mid pipes would be my poor mans PE. I am so happy with my PE now.

true story, spent a month looking for catless mids then said screw it and bought n55 mids from thebmwpartstore, which is cheaper than turner if anyone else was looking into getting a set

I picked up a set of non-resonated Berk Mids (custom from Berk) from Lin on here. But they're a bit too much for me considering I have BMS catless DP's and straight axleback. I'm now looking to trade for berk resonated mids.
