Brake rotor size
Anyone know the size of the brake rotors? It's one of the last few pieces of info we don't have. I'm guessing 14.6" for the front standard brakes, and 15.6" for the CC brakes. I don't see it anywhere.

I'm not sure they've been released, as I've looked for the specs myself. does anyone know the specs of the e9x M3 brakes and the new F30 M performance brakes? it looks like the standard brakes use the same calipers as the F30 M brakes, but has bigger rotors (and I'm sure the rotors are bigger than the outgoing M3 rotors... My guess is 365-370 mm up front).

Although it is not entirely clear if they are speaking specifically about the M3/4 front CSiC brake rotor, a size of 410 mm is quoted for the front rotor, that is a whopping 16.1".

1) Can we stop using inches? No one, not even the American automakers, use the English system anymore (except for wheel diameters). Metric is the dominant system of measurement worldwide.
2) A 380mm disc will fit in an 18" wheel. You just need a compact caliper to do it. |

That's just it. No need for that! There are already kits in red, orange and yellow available alongside the blue.

They mention 20kg total saving, which is the weight saving on the M5. I believe the total weight saving on the F8X is around 6-7kg... The rotors on the F8X could however still be the same size as on the F1X. |
