If anyone is on the fence about it, here are some photos
richiro wroteThe car already comes with the chrome badges so placing them in the correct location was easy.Totally appreciate this as I was on the fence.
How did you find/calculate the dimensions to place them? Where did you purchase from?

Tsapetro wroteI am actually considering this! But first I will order the new 872 M Y-spoke wheels in time for winter tire changeNice! Now u have to retrofit the m sport brakes to be perfect
(same wheels that are now optional with the X1 M35i)
Tomduck wroteSame procedure as the m badge! Very easy and done within 1-5 mins. Some people polish the area afterwards, but if you heat the badge or do it on a hot sunny day, the sticky material comes off very easily and no polish is needed. There are many YouTube videos showing this. Nothing to worry about, and most definitely a DIY jobThey look cool 😎 By the way always meant to ask, how easy is it to take off the back model emgine spec badge? A diy job or is it easy to take paint off doing it?
FZI89 wrotePretty much how I did mine. Used Goo Gone for the little bit of the adhesive that didn't come off, but just wiped it off and wiped with alcohol afterwards. This was before I had the car ceramic coated though, that way I didn't have a spot where there was coating missing.Same procedure as the m badge! Very easy and done within 1-5 mins. Timchi wroteI ordered mine via Amazon from a German dealer that sells original BMW accesories and parts. Not sure if they ship worldwide, but here’s the link:Do you guys have a link for these badges? Also potentially looking for x1 and m35i badges in black
Timchi wroteIND is the premiere BMW aftermarket site in the US.I did find this: https://ind-distribution.com/products/ind-u11-x1-m35i-painted-trunk-emblem
Anyone have experience from this site? Also, is the “ceramic pro coating” on the emblems necessary?
FZI89 wroteLooks nice but I’m confused my car does not even have these… and I have an M35.Just installed the black M Badges today. I find they look muuuuuch better than the chrome badges with the M Sport pack and extended shadowline

fueledbycaffeine wroteOk thanks for that info. I don’t assume that because I’m the only American on the block/neighborhood my car would be so different… mainly because a few of my German neighbors wondered why mine are missing (there’s a number of guys where I live that have Beemers and two of them have ‘Sport’ packages, 5 total have the badges faking it or modded the cars, but mine is the only one that’s an M type and the newest yet I don’t have the side markers.US spec vehicles do not have them
fueledbycaffeine wroteCanadian X1 M35i come with those M badges. (at least the ones I saw in at Ontario BMW dealers) Interesting that people are always happy or unhappy about what they get(or not get). I saw a video of a Canadian X1 M35i owner who posted a video about how to debadge. He removed those M badges with dental floss. Then we have X1 M35i owners here in the US who want to know where to buy those M badges.US spec vehicles do not have them
DavyNM wroteI think the last thing the car needs is more M badges. I’m sure I’ll miss something, but my 2025 X2 M35i already came from the factory with has them on the brake calipers, the wheels, the front grille, the engine cover, the back of the car, the pathway lighting, the display on the dash, and the one on the steering wheel. If I had opted for the one piece seats, that would have added 2 more.Canadian X1 M35i come with those M badges.
